The Project

THE PROJECT

The InTeLS project aims to use e-Learning methods & technologies to improve knowledge of international trade requirements & processes in Small & Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs).

This will be achieved by providing employees who are unable to undergo traditional classroom based training with a viable e-Leaning based alternative.

A key focus of the project will be on the appropriateness of computer games based approaches to knowledge & skills development.

The ultimate aim of the project is to help small & medium sized companies to assess whether importing & exporting can contribute to their company's profitability and, if so, how to the necessary international trade processes.

The Project Partnership consists of two e-leaning technology specialists & three SME Intermediary organisations covering four European Union States – see "Contacts" Section of our Project Website.

The InTeLS project is a two year pilot project which will started in October 2006 & will end in September 2007. The project is part funded by the European Commission under the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme.

If you are interested in participating in the project or would like to be kept informed of its’ progress please provide appropriate contact details in the "Feedback & Contacts" Section of our Project Website (click here URL link to page).
