The key tangible results of the project will be the development of:
An interactive international
trade e-learning suite of tools for staff & managers in SMEs available
as a demonstration CD ROM and through a website.
A four language project providing
online mentoring and support on trading in new export/import markets
A forum on the project portal
where SMEs can join together to discuss their international trade
ideas and concerns.
Demonstration software that
will enable staff & managers in SMEs, trainers & SME intermediaries
to trial the materials gain exposure to e-learning approaches used
and encourage the provision of feedback.
Workshops and seminars open
to all international trade professionals working with SMEs in all
four partner countries to encourage them to signpost staff & managers
in SMEs to the e-learning tool and website.
Reports & presentations
will be published on the effectiveness of state-of-the-art e-learning
technologies in engaging staff & managers in SMEs in international
trade skills education and guidance programmes.
